永住申請とは？🤔条件をわかりやすく解説
永住申請とは、日本に在留する外国人が「永住者」の在留資格を取得するための手続です。
永住許可を受けると、在留期間は無期限となり、在留期間更新許可申請は不要になります（※在留カードの更新は必要です）。

根拠法：出入国管理及び難民認定法（入管法）
審査は「永住許可に関するガイドライン」等に基づいて行われます。

■ 主な要件
・素行が善良であること
・独立した生計を営むに足りる資産または技能を有すること
・その者の永住が日本国の利益に合すると認められること

■ 一般的な要件
・原則として、引き続き10年以上日本に在留していること
・このうち、就労資格（技能実習・特定技能1号を除く）または居住資格で引き続き5年以上在留していること
・公的義務（納税・年金・健康保険料の納付等）を適正に履行していること
・原則として、現在有している在留資格について最長の在留期間をもって在留していること
※高度専門職、日本人の配偶者等、永住者の配偶者等、定住者などは要件が緩和される場合があります。

After receiving permission for Permanent Residence, the applicant is no longer required to apply for an extension of the period of stay.

・Generally, the applicant must have resided in Japan continuously for 10 years or more.
・Among this period, the applicant must have continuously resided in Japan for 5 years or more under a work-related status of residence (excluding Technical Intern Training and Specified Skilled Worker (i)) or a residence-based status of residence.
・The applicant must have properly fulfilled public obligations, including payment of taxes, pension contributions, and health insurance premiums.
・In principle, the applicant must hold the longest period of stay available for their current status of residence.
※Certain categories, such as Highly Skilled Professionals, spouses of Japanese nationals or Permanent Residents, and Long-Term Residents, may be subject to relaxed requirements.
